The latest Kia K5 has two engine options across its five trims. The standard 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine uses gasoline direct injection to muster 180 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.

When you opt for the K5 GT, you’ll have a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine sitting under the hood, ready to roar down the roads of Wesley Chapel. This beast uses both gasoline direct injection and multi-port injection to generate 290 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. That’s greater torque output than any other sedan in its class!

With this activated, the Kia K5 GT has an outstanding 0-60 mph time of just 5.4 seconds, which is comparable to high-end models like the Alfa Romeo Stelvio and the BMW 530i xDrive M Sport.

With a quick-shifting, eight-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), the Kia K5 GT is primed for an invigorating drive. The car’s wet clutch transfers power more smoothly than a basic transmission due to the fact that it is covered in oil, creating less friction.
