Spacious Interior with Innovative Technology

The 2025 Carnival MPV Hybrid is ideal for daily driving and epic road trips. The Carnival Hybrid is available in four trims, with the LXS as the entry-level trim, two mid-level trims – EX and SX, and the top trim – SX Prestige. The 2025 Carnival Hybrid has a new exterior and interior styling, differentiating it from the previous non-hybrid Carnival MPV.

Inside, the Carnival has everything drivers and passengers need. There is plenty of space with lots of storage cubbies. All trims have at least one 12.3-inch infotainment screen, but drivers can opt for the available dual 12.3-inch curved displays that cover most of the dash.

Comfort Features and a Hybrid Powertrain

The smooth-riding Carnival Hybrid features a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor. The hybrid powertrain delivers 242 horsepower. Kia includes a six-speed automatic transmission with E-Ride and E-Handling to control the hybrid motor. The best part of driving a hybrid is the fuel economy – a respectable EPA-estimated 34 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway. All Carnival Hybrid trims have standard front-wheel drive.

Kia also outfitted the smooth-riding Carnival with plenty of unique comfort features. The SX Prestige has luxurious leather upholstery with optional second-row seats that recline and have a footrest. The other three trims have two-color SynTex upholstery. All trims have tri-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, sliding and removable second-row seats, and 60-40 folding third-row seats.
