Niro PHEV Details

Do you want an eco-friendly, rechargeable SUV to drive in Wesley Chapel, Florida? Then you should hear this news: Kia of Wesley Chapel will soon have the 2022 Niro Plug-in Hybrid!

The automaker has announced that the Niro PHEV will be arriving at dealerships soon, and we want to make sure you know about it.

Not much is different on the 2022 Niro compared to the 2021 edition. It will keep the same powertrain and continue averaging a 26-mile range.[1] Its 1.6-liter GDI engine pairs to the electric motor to produce 139 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque when operating in tandem.

The 2022 Niro is available in four different trim levels: LXS, EX, and EX Premium. Plus, it offers many included DriveWise features, such as Forward Collision-Avoidance, Blindspot Collision Warning, Lane Follow Assist, High Beam Assist, and Driver Attention Warning.

The Niro PHEV has been around since the 2018 model year and has served as an affordable entry point into all-electric driving for price-conscious shoppers. As a midsize SUV, that’s also a low-priced PHEV on the market, the Niro has given many families their first opportunity to own or lease a rechargeable vehicle.
